Just another long dark road with a "story." Located in Watchung - Its known as 13 Bumps Road.

The story says that 13 witches were buried in the road after being burned in the 1700s - years later when the roads were paved....13 bumps emerged from the ground. They were removed many times, but always came back.

Supposidly you drive down the road, you'll hit 13 bumps, you turn around and you'll only count 12 - you look behind you and the witch will be chasing you.

I dont know, we couldnt count more then 9 bumps to begin with.

Ive never even seen anyone say theyve seen the witches or even counted the right amount of bumps.

Another legend bites the dust i suppose - we always thought this was some bored guy making up a story to watch the idiots drive past his house looking for it.
