The Rattler is easily one of my favorite vehicles in the Joe universe. Its actually what started me collecting a few years ago. I was extremely excited when I found out Hasbro was doing a repaint, which I am happy with, but I felt I could go a step above. the lack of a canopy really irritated me, I'm not a fan of sound attack, and I never really had an affinity towards those "nipple" like laser things that were on the turret. The turret was fabricated from the ball that a "Lil Homie" figure thing came in out of those 50 cent machines. (I got it for the ball, not the figure) I had to melt the notch in it with a soldering iron because those balls are arguably the most fragile things know to man. it took ma almost an hour to cut it down to size with a hacksaw. The guns are from Heavy Duty with the handles removed. I modified the location of the payload hard points by shaving some of them off to make up for the lesser number of missiles that come with the repaint.. I also took the sound attack cannon and hard mounted it to the center section of the wing. The cammo is a base of flat black with night blue spray painted over it. Now I have to attack that sorry excuse for Wild Weasel...
