Gates of hell:

          The legends or rumors about Gates of hell in Clifton are stuff like satanic worshipping, going in and nothing coming back out. A place with bones everywhere and rotting corpses and a supposed secret room down there believed to be many layers under ground.  That can only be entered is you had some sort of power and the lower you got the closer you are coming to the devil himself.

            But after a recent trip to this place, I’m going have to put a big doubt in all of these rumors and legends. Sorry to say when I and my friends had gotten there we went down into the area where the entrance of the gates is. We proceed to enter it and then began to scoop out the areas and walked threw tunnels we hit a couple of dead ends in the place. We Trekked threw running water that comes about ankle high and threw the bad smells but we didn’t find much but graphitte from teens on the walls nothing odd or scary really struck me in this place.  It was very disappointing we got to this point where we couldn’t go any father just because it looked if we dropped down any more we would need help with some sort of tool to get back up. But still even looking down with our shinning flash lights it didn’t look too creepy. So after finding absolutely nothing I would have to say the gates of hell aren’t a big deal.  It looks more like a hang out place then the place the devil himself would be.

            My advices don’t waste your time with this one.  But if you do go wear boots and really really crappie clothes and I have included pictures of me and my friends exploits of the gates of hell.
