What was once a huge department store in Lakewood, NJ now remains empty for the most part.

When we stopped to look around for a minute, there were numerous trucks and cars in the lot and construction of some sort going on inside the building. The front doors were wide open, yells of construction workers, screams of drills, and pounding of hammers poured out from the inside.

With so much activity going on, we just stopped to snap a picture or two. But perhaps the Jamesway will be re opened sometime in the future.
